Hey, I guess they went for another life story....bloom where you are planted. touche Oma Linda
Yep, some do indeed.Have a terrific day. :)
And they just stay stuck, indeed. Cool pic.
Great photo. Where is this?
Amazing !
Interesting and unique. I guess no one else in the neighborhood would have a house like theirs.
That's probably a lot better than a giant shoe.
Wow- is that in Turkey?
I was over at the Blog Farm reading some of your work. You amaze me.
Wow! that is strange looking!
The first thing I thought of was the old woman who lived in a shoe. That one would leave a blister.
I would love to live in something unique like that. I wonder if that's where the saying, "Solid as a rock" came from?S
Hm...is that a real house? It looks pretty protected in case of tornado or hurricane. I wouldn't want to test its safety during an earthquake, though.
That is one of the finest examples of making do with what you have available that i have seen in a long time.
Good solid foundation, I guess.
Stephen, only you could pick out such situation and put a name to it! Interesting photo all around. what twisted person would build such a house?
a good wordless wednesday post.
I can't help but wonder if that is photoshopped. But it is cool, regardless. ;)
What an interesting concept for a house :)
I even stopped to wonder if this picture was real. But it came in your post. So I smiled and was sure that it is :)
feels like home......................:)
Wow! And I always thought it would be a bad thing!
what a fantastic photo- what would it be like to live in that house? Was this in Turkey?
Someone just forwarded a slide show of - I think - National Geographic photos .. I feel as if that was one of them .. or maybe I am imagining it ..
Great picture Stephen. I could imagine such a dwelling being described in a fable or children's story - I don't think anyone is going to huff, puff and blow this house down!
This looks like a scene straight out of Lord of the Rings.
Sometimes I think setting up shop is the only thing you can do--gotta roll with the punches, right?
Probably stays cool in summer.
