Although the Taj Mahal was the catalyst
for our trip to India, I admit to viewing it with trepidation. I’d unwisely
made a judgment; without laying my eyes on it I’d concluded that this was the
most beautiful edifice ever created by the hand of man. I’d based this opinion
of photographs. But I’d been disappointed before and worried I’d set my
