The Contrarian

I think my mother is a contrarian--always picking the opposite side in every argument just to rile me. Yesterday I had an interesting exchange with her about the Lottery. Read about it (here).

    You know, it made me remember that I never took part in a lottery. Ever. maybe I should try? I should win something really great!

    Hard work used to pay but nowadays it seems most people believe that having that one stroke of luck is enough. A shame, in my opinion. :-)
