As a kid, I always hoped I'd catch a marlin when we fished off the old Cement Boat near Santa Cruz, California. I never did, but one day I caught more than I bargained for. Read about it (here).
ha. growing up i never appreciated fishing. my dad enjoyed it and it seemed like such a waste of time i remember some really frustrating days on the bank...years later...i understand a bit more...smiles.

I only fished once, but we always threw them back. They weren't very big.
