Small World

About fifteen years ago, Mrs. Chatterbox and I flew to Tahiti where we boarded a ship for a cruise through French Polynesia.  We weren't impressed with Tahiti, but many of the surrounding islands were unpopulated and beautiful, giving us the “Gauguin” experience we were looking for. Read about it (here).

  1. I hear Polynesia has some beautiful islands. Though as you mentioned, the popular ones are more crowded and modern than you'd imagine in your head.

  2. Yes, I can see that Gauguin had a point. It sounds like you have a stout heart - it must have been a close thing when the dog got to you! Amazing coincidence too. Just back from Crete - don't think it's quite up to Polynesia!
